July 2026: Letting the Photos Do the Talking

The July photos are here, and I needed a minute before I could send them.
There's something about a folder full of dogs eating that just stops you.
So this month, I'm going to let the photos do the talking. They tell the story better than I can.
Our local partners were out on the ground, same as every month.
Food bought in bulk. Bags loaded into the back of a truck. Long drives out to the corners and roadsides where dogs have learned that someone shows up.
Bowl after bowl. Spot after spot. All month long.
I'm not going to pretend this is anything other than what it is: every order keeps these feeding operations going.
The dogs you see in these photos will never know any of this.
They won't know that someone, somewhere, chose a bracelet or a necklace because it meant something. They won't know that the meal in front of them today started as an order placed weeks ago, by a stranger they'll never meet.

But it's never only the regulars.
Every week, new dogs appeared. Dogs our partners had never seen before. Some cautious, hanging back. Some who walked straight up to the bowls like they'd been waiting their whole lives for someone to show up.
Each new face means another stop, a little more food, a slightly longer route. And because of you, there was enough to go around.
